Mission and Vision

Redemption Church exists to glorify God through making disciples of all nations.

We believe God makes this mission clear to us, and all local churches, through scripture (Matthew 5:14-16, Matthew 28:18-20).  From this we see clearly that the local church is not merely a building or a provider of Christian goods and services or even friendly group of people who share an interest in religious things1.  Rather, the church is God’s appointed means through which He is reconciling a lost people to Himself.

The church is utterly unique, called and empowered by God and we cannot fulfill our purpose or understand our identity apart from God's calling.  For that reason it is absolutely vital we comprehend who we are and to whom we belong.

At Redemption Church we strive to be a people who proclaim God’s glory by being a faithful witness of the Gospel to the world around us.  The work of the church is to make disciples who observe and obey all that Christ commands and equip them for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).

At Redemption Church we envision a local body…
  • Where believers are built up in their faith and equipped for ministry producing a healthy church and changed lives.
  • Filled with people who are enthusiastic to share the gospel and reach unbelievers through personal evangelism and personal invitation resulting in many coming to faith in Christ.
  • Characterized by multiplying disciples, multiplying community groups and ultimately multiplying churches.

Our strategy is simple and follows directly from our Vision:  Build.  Reach.  Multiply.

As we are faithful in the mission God has given us our ministry will always be marked by these activities.  We will be a people who are continually building [equipping for the work of the ministry], reaching [proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ] and multiplying [reproducing disciples and churches].
